Erection of the Male reproductive organ is the result of the sexual stimulation. A signal is send from the brain to the penile region to release the nitric oxide that will relax the penile muscles, allowing the arteries to open up and fill the Male reproductive organ with blood. It is also very necessary that the blood in the Male reproductive organ remains for the sufficient time so that men are able to hold the erection for the sufficient amount of time. If there is any problem in this mechanism then men are not able to get the erection and thus they suffer from the Impotence. Impotence is developed in men when the inadequate supply of blood takes place to the Male reproductive organ during the sexual activity.

Around 85% of the men in the world suffer from the Impotence either temporarily or permanently.  Men who aren’t able to attain or maintain a stiff erection can’t have a satisfactory sex life. Sex is a very important and necessary part of life. Life seems to be shattered without a satisfactory and healthy sex part in it. Hence it’s very important to have a good sex life in order to make life heavenly beautiful. Impotence (ED) is the only disease in the world through which maximum men in the world are suffering. Impotence is the condition in men in which men are unable to achieve the erection or sustain the erection for the sufficient amount of time during the sexual encounter.

Depression and stress in the day-to-day life is one of the main reasons of the Impotence. Diabetes, blood pressure problems, vascular disease, hormone disorders (low amount of testosterone), pelvic trauma, surgery, radiation therapy, psychological conditions, neurological conditions, venous leak, and Peyronie’s disease also leads to the Impotence. But, it is not clear whether these diseases only lead to the Impotence or there are some other factors involved.

The first step to overcome Impotence is to communicate about it to your partner. It is very necessary to take your partner in confidence. Then tell to your doctor about your problem so that he can suggest the medicines or some other treatments to overcome Impotence. The non-surgical treatments to cure impotence are: penile injections—in this method you need to take the injections of the prostaglandin E1, papaverine, phentolamine, or combinations of these drugs into the Male reproductive organ with the help of thin needle and syringe. You need to take this injection 30 to 40 minutes before the sexual activity to see the maximum benefits; Suppositories—the man with Impotence places a suppository into the urinary tube (urethra) using a plastic applicator. The suppository contains the medicine alprostadil (Muse), which is absorbed into the nearby erection chambers (corpora cavernosa).

The surgical treatments that you can use to overcome the Impotence are: vascular reconstructive surgery—when the arteries in the penile region are damaged or blocked. Then you can use vascular reconstructive surgery as it reconstructs the arteries that are either damaged or blocked; penile implants—It is the implant of the prosthetic device within the Male reproductive organ that allows men to get the erection and hold it too for the long time; inflatable implants—This procedure involves the implants of the two cylinders inserted into to the Male reproductive organ that supports the Male reproductive organ during the sexual intercourse; semirigid or malleable rod implants—In this surgery the semirigid or malleable rod is implanted in the Male reproductive organ that gives support to the Male reproductive organ during the sexual activity. But, oral medication is the easiest and the effective method to treat the Impotence. The success rate of the oral medication is very high in comparison to all other surgical or non-surgical methods used to cure impotence.
